Dr Ross Radic is an Australian and Internationally Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with extended expertise in all aspects of knee surgery, particularly anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, robotic knee replacement, multi-ligament knee reconstruction and limb realignment. Dr Radic is also Fellowship trained in shoulder surgery, with a focus on arthroscopic shoulder procedures, sports surgery, and hip and shoulder replacement.

Dr Radic is known for his excellence in clinical practice, contribution to research, and commitment to the ongoing education of junior clinicians and orthopaedic surgical trainees.

Dr Radic enjoys taking the time to get to know his patients and identify their treatment goals. His patient-centred approach to clinical practice caters to individual needs. He prides himself on helping patients to achieve their goals no matter their background – be it elite sportsperson, weekend warrior or retiree. A strong emphasis on return to function and lifestyle forms the basis for patient treatment. Dr Radic aims for excellence in all aspects of his work. After completing his medical studies at the University of Western Australia, Dr Radic undertook orthopaedic specialist training in Perth, with working stints in Melbourne and London. Following completion of training, Dr Radic was awarded a coveted fellowship position in complex knee surgery at the Fortius Clinic (London) working with internationally-renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr Andy Williams, as well as the prestigious Calvert Shoulder Fellowship training under Dr Andrew Wallace. Here, Dr Radic developed experience in the surgical management of elite sportspeople, including athletes from the English Premier League, Premiership Rugby, National Football, Rugby and Cricket teams and Royal Ballet. Following fellowship training in London, Dr Radic gained further experience with expert surgeons in Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden.

Since returning to Perth, Dr Radic has held public appointment as consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Royal Perth Hospital. Here his special interest lies in the treatment of high-energy knee trauma, multi-ligament knee reconstruction, complex knee reconstruction and replacement, as well as all aspects of shoulder surgery. Dr Radic is the current co-director of advanced orthopaedic training. He enjoys mentoring and supporting future generations of orthopaedic surgeons.

Dr Radic is actively involved in research, with numerous publications in medical journals and regular speaking engagements at national and international conferences. He is a founding member and Director of the Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Research Institute, partaking in high quality industry-leading research. Dr Radic is a current member of the prestigious Australian Knee Society in addition to international organisations including ISAKOS, AANA and APKASS. His research focus includes anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and multi-ligament knee reconstruction.

Dr Radic consults privately at the Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre with rooms in West Perth, Palmyra, Mount Claremont and Broome.

Outside of his surgical practice, Dr Radic enjoys an active lifestyle and time spent with family.
